We have so much to celebrate today!!! Praise! We all survived the first year! James is ONE!! The days and nights and even some of the weeks were long but the year went by fast. Thank you for helping us get through this first year. Your support, care, and prayers have made all the difference.
I made him a "cupcake" of sweet potatoes, white beans, spinach, avocado and acorn squash! I couldn't bring myself to do all the sugar.
We are all a bit under the weather and he doesn't have much of an appetite for food so he didn't eat any of it but was eager to try to dump the plate on the floor. He did not succeed (this year).
James was spoiled with gifts and we are so thankful to each of you.
He has two bottom teeth and two top teeth that are making their way in. He isn't quite walking yet but is close. He stands a lot and fearlessly plays and navigates his way around giving me the opportunity to say "careful!" about 297 times a day. He gets 329 kisses a day and we are working on sign language, waving goodbye, drinking from a cup and picking up food to eat on his own.
We can't wait to see what this year brings!
