Summer 2018 first RV trip is in the books. We went to the Shenandoah Mountains over Memorial weekend. Clearly we were "glamping" in our RV full of amenities considering there were several other brave and courageous families with tiny children in tents. TENTS! Simply crazy in my mind.
James had the best time watching other kids but especially all the dogs, birds, bunnies and deer. We did not see any bears, which was shocking to me given all the food he left behind after eating outside on the picnic table in his fancy, portable high chair. I thought for sure the abundance of crumbs on the ground would attract all the bears. It did not.
The first hike started out happy. It did not end as happy. It was a little too close to nap time. The next day he had a great hike, a little bit shorter distance helped as well.
He loves picking flowers and holding them as he rides in his stroller. He holds them very gently and surprisingly doesn't eat or destroy them.
Happy Summer 2018!!
