Sleep is so underrated. Baby James is getting lots of rest. Many are asking how the parents are doing....we are tired! Just as we expected.
Our first week home from the NICU has overall been wonderful. It is so nice to hold James without all of his wires and monitors. Yet without them, we've had our fair share of moments checking and double checking "Is he breathing? "Is he breathing?" ; )
Although we feel tired, we also feel grateful, overjoyed, and so very blessed that we've been chosen to care for this little blessing.
We continue to feel overwhlemed with gratitude by all of your well wishes, thoughtful prayers, gifts, cards, blog comments and support. Thank you!

Such a beautiful boy who seems to be growing as he should. As for checking to see if they are breathing, C (now 3.5years) slept late last week and you better be sure I still went in to check!! Love to you all, and prayers for warm snuggles and restful sleep.
